Collection tool

This is a special action tool. It can’t be selected and will run the action immediately when you click on it.

With this tool group multiple elements together. For more complex grouping see layers.

When you create an object, its collection will be set to the active collection set in the configuration. To change the collection of an existing object click “Change collection” and then proceed to type the name of the collection (which may or may not already exist). Leaving the collection field empty will set the collection to the default collection.

To select the active collection click on its name in the collection tool menu. There can only be one empty collection at once, and it will vanish as soon as another collection is selected.

• Select a custom collection - Selects an existing named collection or creates a new empty collection, then makes it active.
• Select - Selects all elements of the active collection.
• Rename - Changes the name of the active collection. Renaming the default collection moves its elements into the entered collection name.
• Delete elements - Deletes the active collection along with all of its elements.
• Move to Layer - Moves all elements in the active collection to a specific layer.
