Tools draw, edit, import, or arrange content on the canvas. View tools control how you work with it, while action tools run a command immediately.

Use the sidebar to learn more about individual tools. For file workflows, see Importing and Exporting.

Add a tool with the plus button. Drag toolbar tools to reorder them, and select one to use it. Select a configurable tool again to open its properties. Action tools run immediately when selected.

The name of the tool will be displayed as tooltip on hover on the tool.

Temporary tools

There can be only one temporary tool at a time. It appears on the left of the toolbar and will disappear when another tool is selected.
